In Spring 2024, the Middlesex Community College Foundation celebrated "That's What Friends are For" – an evening of music with six-time Grammy Award-winning music legend and 2023 Kennedy Center Honor recipient Dionne Warwick.

Thursday, April 25 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. A donor reception took place at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and the 7:30 p.m. performance by Ms. Warwick

In addition to performing, Dionne sat down with MCC President Phil Sisson to answer questions about her decades’ long career and her life spent supporting humanitarian causes including health access, AIDS awareness and disaster relief. 

The TJX Companies, Inc. returned as the Presenting Sponsor. 

Proceeds from Celebrity Forum support scholarships for Middlesex students.
