Improve English Language Skills!

MCC's Corporate Education Division is committed to helping students and employers by offering two different English Language programs.

For the Workplace Group of students listening to instructor

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses are designed to be offered at your company at a time convenient to your employees. Workplace ESOL courses are targeted to your employees with varying needs to develop and hone skills.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) course:

The courses are customized to incorporate material relating to a company’s products and services. As a result, participants will be better able to:

  • Understand job requirements
  • Communicate with their supervisors
  • Communicate with fellow workers
  • Take advantage of company training
  • Pursue further educational and training opportunities

Before beginning ESOL training, an MCC instructor will conduct an assessment. Your employees' assessment results will determine their appropriate training level.

The course content will help your employees with:
  • Improving their communication skills in English
  • Speaking and pronounciation practice
  • Writing practice
  • Develop their reading comprehension
  • Job and company specific exercises

For the Student
