We offer flexible and affordable options to make fitting education into their busy lives easier.

Choose what works best for you:

  • Mini-mesters – two, eight-week sessions offered each in the Fall & Spring
  • Micro-credentials – mini qualifications that train you to complete skills employers want
  • Asynchronous Online – independent work with pre-recorded lessons and tutorials and no class meetings
  • Synchronous Online – engage with professors and classmates in live classes with a camera and microphone at specific times and days
  • Hybrid (Blended) – complete coursework online and come to campus to finish practical experiences
  • Hyflex (Hybrid Flexible) – choose from in-person or synchronous online each class
  • In-person – face-to-face, on-campus classes at specific times and days

MCC is committed to making education affordable, offering classes with Open Educational Resources (OER) whenever possible. This means that many faculty use low-cost or no-cost books and learning tools in the classes.

MCC understands that students have job, family and personal responsibilities. Mini-mesters offer flexible and affordable classes that fit into your schedule. Jumpstart your education with accelerated options to make getting an education possible. Complete your general requirements faster and transfer the credits when you're ready.

Mini-mesters are short eight-week semesters that offer the same:

  • Courses
  • Credits
  • Instructional hours
  • High-quality instruction
  • Interactive and immersive curriculum

Once there, do the following:

  1. Select the appropriate Term (Fall or Spring) and click Submit
  2. Select the Part of Term Mini-mester I or Mini-mester II
  3. Click on Class Search and you will be able to view the course offerings!

Access Career Growth and Professional Opportunities Faster

Micro-credentials are mini qualifications that train you to be able to complete skills that employers want. This non-degree credential costs less than a certificate or associate degree and can be completed in less than half a year.  

MCC’s micro-credentials are designed to:

  • Provide specific knowledge in Massachusetts’ fastest growing industries
  • Offer focused, in-demand career qualifications
  • Meet local workforce and industry partner needs
  • Be compact and completed quickly

Available as three or four, eight-week course bundles, or nine credit hours, micro-credentials are taught by industry experts and college professors. The cost is often less than $800 with no registration or application fee.
