We Provide Data to Support Our Students’ Success!
The Institutional Research team provides the College with data to make equity-based decisions.
Ensuring people Collegewide can access and understand critical information, we show the effects MCC has on our students and the community.
Our data comes from surveys, compliance reporting, and College dashboards. The goal is to provide transparency and clarity through enhanced data analysis that is designed to help us make data-informed decisions.
The goal of the results is to:
- Promote equity
- Reduce gaps and bias
- Support MCC’s strategic plan

RISE Effectiveness Metrics
Evaluation of institutional effectiveness is a college-wide effort that includes our
Strategic Leadership Council, President's Leadership Council, Academic and Student
Affairs Leadership, and various divisions and departments at the College. Institutional
Research and Assessment monitors the College's key effectiveness measures name RISE
- standing for Register, Integrate, Succeed, and Employed - regularly throughout the
academic year. These metrics correspond to initiatives in MCC's Strategic Plan,With
Equity at its Core and helps the College assess our progress in meeting our internal
goals. Faculty and staff can review progress, trends, and equity gaps using the MCC
Data Insights page on MyMCC.
