Middlesex Community College is excited to announce a new partnership with Genuine Foods. Bringing a fresh dining experience to the Lowell and Bedford campuses, the collaboration aims to provide students, faculty and staff with high-quality, affordable food. Named for the college’s owl mascot, The Owl Café offers engaging and inviting dining environments for the MCC community.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Middlesex Community College to elevate the dining experience on both campuses,” said Nick Bauer, Director of Operations for Genuine Foods. “Our mission is to deliver not just great food, but also a sense of connection and community through every meal we serve.”

“Now with increasing numbers of students on campus, we are excited to offer our students, employees and community members excellent food services in both Bedford and Lowell,” said Phil Sisson, MCC’s President. “Our partnership with Genuine Foods allows us to expand these opportunities to come together in shared spaces and enhance our campus life. While providing access to affordable food and coffee from our cafeterias, The Owl Café helps us meet our mission of supporting the success of our students in and outside of the classroom.”

Led by Genuine Foods, the dining program will feature an array of affordable menu options and seasonal offerings designed to meet diverse tastes and preferences, as well as wide-ranging catering services. Highlights include scratch-made foods, locally sourced ingredients, customizable meals, and global cuisines. The menu will evolve over time to respond to the MCC community.

The new dining spaces on both campuses have been thoughtfully updated to foster a community-oriented environment. Expanded menu offerings and operational updates will roll out over the coming weeks to ensure a seamless transition for students, faculty and staff.
