Links Program at MCC
We Help You Transition to College-level Courses!
Do you have a dream of earning a college degree?
The Links Program helps adults with a high school diploma or equivalency credential (HiSET or GED) enroll in college.
We offer:
- Extra support for transitioning into the college setting
- Small group classes
- Individualized academic and career guidance
- Supportive faculty and staff
- Free college credits
- Hybrid daytime classes – one day on-campus, one day online!
- Fall and Spring sessions
As part of Links, you get FREE:
- College tuition and fees
- Textbooks
- Supplies (i.e. binders, paper, folders, calculators, etc.)
Priority is given to students who previously attended MCC’s Adult Learning Center or other Adult Basic Education Programs, but other students may inquire.
Courses are subject to change each year, but may include:
- General Education - First-Year Experience
- General Education - Digital Literacy
- General Education - Career Exploration
- English Composition I/Critical Thinking
- Preparation for College Math
- Statistics/Skills Development
- Introduction to Psychology
- General Biology
- English Composition II
To apply, please provide a(n):
- Copy of your High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Credential
- Complete MCC Application
- Completion of MCC’s course placement process
- Academic reference from an Adult Learning Center staff member to verify your commitment and consistent attendance record
- Interview with the Program Coordinator
